Description of the NL2407 – 3-stage cylindrical anodised aluminium table lift

The NL2407 is a three-stage cylindrical electric table pedestal engineered specifically for the marine environment. Manufactured in anodised aluminium, it offers an excellent compromise between structural rigidity, reduced weight and long-term resistance to corrosion in offshore and coastal conditions.

This motorised lifting column enables the automatic raising and lowering of a tabletop, allowing you to convert a dinette into a berth, a lounge area into a coffee table setup, or to optimise space within the saloon or cockpit. Its smooth telescopic movement ensures controlled elevation with no jerking, even under load.

With a retracted height of 358 mm and a deployed height of 758 mm, the NL2407 provides a generous 400 mm stroke, making it suitable for versatile onboard layouts. The cylindrical lower and upper deck plates (Ø200 mm) ensure a clean, symmetrical installation and easy integration into both modern and classic yacht interiors.

Powered by a 12V DC supply and drawing up to 10A, the lift reaches a speed of 12 mm/s without load and 9 mm/s under full load. It supports a compression load of 2,000 N, with dynamic bending movement rated at 500 Nm and static bending movement up to 1,000 Nm. These characteristics guarantee excellent stability at anchor or underway.

The NL2407 is particularly well suited for sailing yachts, motor yachts and catamarans where weight saving is crucial without compromising strength or reliability.

Good to Know

• The NL2407 can be synchronized in pairs for larger tabletops using the dedicated synchronization module (ref. NL2410).
• For non-synchronized installations, a MOM OFF MOM switch must be wired to reverse polarity (not supplied as standard).
• Cable length between control box and lift must not exceed 5 metres, and equal cable lengths are required for synchronized configurations.
• The power line must be protected in accordance with marine electrical standards.
• A 24V DC version is available under reference NL2408.

Installation / Maintenance

Installation:

• Ensure a solid deck or sole reinforcement capable of withstanding compression and bending loads.
• Fix the Ø200 mm base plate securely to the deck structure using marine-grade fasteners.
• Wire the lift via a polarity-reversing MOM OFF MOM switch or through the synchronization control module for dual-lift installations.
• Verify that the lift remains visible during operation to comply with onboard safety practices.

Maintenance:

• Rinse periodically with fresh water in case of exposure to salt-laden air.
• Inspect electrical connections and wiring regularly for signs of moisture or corrosion.
• Check mounting bolts and deck fixings as part of routine yacht maintenance schedules.
• Keep telescopic sections clean to ensure smooth extension and retraction.
