Returns policy

We want to guarantee you the best possible shopping experience. However, if you are not satisfied with a product you have ordered or if it is faulty, our return policy is as follows:

Returns

According to the European law DIRECTIVE 2011/83/EU our return policy lasts 14 days after receiving your order. If more than 14 days have gone by since the arrival of your product, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it. It must also be properly packed to protect it during the return transport. You are liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods. Below at ‘Shipping’ we provide more information about handling your return.

Refund

1. Defective Product:
If the product you ordered turns out to be defective, you have the following options:

  • Full Refund: You will be refunded the total amount of the product, along with the return shipping costs. The product must be returned to us in this case, unless otherwise instructed by us.

  • Product Replacement: Upon request, we will replace the defective product with an identical one at no additional cost. Conditions: The refund or replacement will be processed once the returned product has been received and inspected by our quality control team.

2. Functional Product:
If you wish to return a product that is functional and matches your order, the following conditions apply:

  • Return Shipping Costs: Return shipping fees are the responsibility of the customer.

  • Refund: The product must be returned in its original functional visual condition. You are liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods. After receipt and approval of the product’s quality by our team, a refund for the product amount will be issued within 15 days.

3. Non-Refundable Fees:
In all return cases, transaction fees, bank charges, and customs duties are non-refundable. Please contact our customer service before initiating a return to receive the necessary instructions to ensure a smooth process.

If your return is approved, according to the previous case, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. This will be processed by the same third party that handles the initial payment. If you have not received your refund within two weeks (15 days) of receiving our confirmation, please contact contact@nauticspares.com .

Exchanges (if applicable)

If you want to exchange your item, please send us an email at contact@nauticspares.com informing us of the desired exchange, the original purchased product and the item you would like to receive. Then, return the item you want to exchange to our address listed in the “Shipping” section, indicating the original invoice number. Once we have received your item we will dispatch the desired item.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning/exchanging your item. You will also be responsible for the products until they are received at our address. We recommend you use a trackable shipping method and might consider insurance for higher valued goods.
