NAUTICSPARES

More Than Just Boat spares

Your New Dedicated Technical Support Ally explained in just 3 steps

At NAUTICSPARES, true to our motto “Boat Partner That Cares”, we go far beyond simply supplying boat spares. We are your trusted technical ally, ready to assist in identifying, solving, and preventing onboard issues, whether you are a marine professionnal, or you own a sailboat, catamaran, or motor yacht.

What does it mean to “care”?

It means to us:

Taking the time to understand your problem in detail

Offering not just a sparepart reference, but a real diagnosis, identifying the root causes

Ensuring you get the right solution, not just a shipment, troubleshooting for real and for long

And because many recurring issues have no ready-made answer, we’ve also started developing our own complementary components and custom-made parts, designed to fine-tune the existing equipment provided by the brands we represent. Whether it’s improving reliability, installation conditions, or durability, our goal is always the same: to go beyond the factory specs and provide refinements and optimizations that truly meet the realities on board.

A Comprehensive Range of Boat Spares

Beyond What's on Our Website

Leveraging our network of specialized suppliers and in-depth knowledge of leading nautical brands, we offer an extensive range of technical products, far exceeding what’s visible on our website.

Our offerings include:

All of our spare parts are genuine OEM parts (Original Equipment Manufacturer), meaning they are identical to the parts originally installed by the boat manufacturer, ensuring full compatibility and optimal reliability.

Whether you’re a boating enthusiast, shipyard, or marine professional, we can source the right part, even for rare or older equipment.

WHAT SETS US APART?

This approach enables us to identify the root causes of issues, guide you to the most reliable solution, and prevent ordering errors.

Customer Case 1

Technical Assistance on a NOVAL Compression Sunroof on a 41″ Motorboat

A boat owner based in Germany recently contacted us regarding a complex malfunction of the compression sunroof on their Yacht. The roof was stuck in a semi-open position, compromising the vessel’s watertightness and onboard safety.

Through initial remote diagnostics, including detailed video exchanges via WhatsApp, our team was able to quickly identify the key issues:

  • A malfunctioning control box causing motor blockage,

  • Improper maintenance of the rails and sliding components,

  • Motor overload due to mechanical resistance.

An on-site intervention was organized with one of our qualified technical partners, in coordination with the boat’s manufacturer. The operation included:

  • Replacing the defective control box (NL0129),
  • Adjusting belts and thoroughly cleaning the rails
  • Performing multiple full open/close cycles,
  • Restoring full, smooth functionality in line with factory standards.

While on board, we also took the opportunity to carry out a preventive maintenance check on the second soft-top sunroof fitted to the vessel. We shared maintenance best practices with the owner and recommended the professional-grade silicone spray we use internally for optimal long-term performance.

The owner expressed his appreciation for the professionalism, clarity, and care provided throughout the process. He was especially relieved to have both roof systems now fully operational, and felt reassured by the transparent and confident way in which the intervention was conducted.

The work was carried out in his presence, with full respect for onboard etiquette and personal property. As with all our interventions, we ensured complete protection of sensitive surfaces and materials before starting work, and thoroughly cleaned the area upon completion.
All waste materials were collected, sorted, and evacuated, with a strict policy of recycling and minimizing environmental impact wherever possible—because respecting the boat also means respecting the sea.

And when required, NAUTICSPARES can also operate without the owner on board, always with the same level of discretion and responsibility. We are a company built on trust, made up of accountable professionals who treat every vessel as if it were their own.

At NAUTICSPARES, we provide technical assistance and supply spare parts anywhere in the world—whether you’re docked in a major marina or anchored in a remote bay. We operate in English and French, ensuring smooth and efficient communication with boat owners, crews, and professionals across continents.

This global reach is made possible thanks to a trusted international network we’ve built over more than a decade in the marine industry. It includes reliable partners: boat maintenance companies, skilled independent specialists (marine electricians, mechanics), shipyards, and marinas—people we know, trust, and collaborate with regularly.

And when it comes to logistics, no destination is out of reach. We regularly ship genuine OEM parts to the most remote and unexpected places: Caribbean islands, atolls in the Pacific, isolated harbors, and even boats in transit. Wherever your boat is, NAUTICSPARES is never far.

A Service-Oriented and Partnership-Driven Vision

Our technical catalog is complemented by an in-depth understanding of each product we offer. This expertise allows us to:

  • Provide precise and efficient service to our clients,
  • Support marine and nautical equipment brands in developing their after-sales service (SAV) and warranty processes.

Our offering primarily focuses on two key services:

  1. Remote technical assistance (diagnostics, advice, documentation, video),
  2. Identification, supply, and global delivery of critical spare parts.

These two pillars are areas where we have scaled, equipped, and trained ourselves, aiming to provide a comprehensive and reliable solution to all nautical stakeholders, regardless of their location.

At NAUTICSPARES, you’re not just an order number: you’re a sailor we support with precision, expertise, and responsiveness.

Customer Case 2

Replacement of a Gas Spring for Aft Platform on a DUFOUR sailing Boat

An owner of a Dufour 460 Grand Large (460 GL) , based in Italy, reached out to us for assistance with a completely bent and therefore non-functional gas spring (ref. 100100) used to open the aft platform of his sailboat.

The client shared, via email, clear and detailed photos of the installation area, the product label, and the damaged gas strut itself. Thanks to this visual documentation and a few complementary email exchanges, our team was able to identify the exact corresponding reference in our Ressorts SPEC gas spring catalog.

Although the original part 100100-500N had since evolved in terms of internal specification, we confirmed that the current version was fully compatible—including the removable threaded end fittings, which matched the existing onboard configuration.

We quickly sent the client a formal quote, including lead time, and provided a secure link for online credit card payment. Within five days—including delivery—he had received and installed the new part.

The client expressed his full satisfaction, thanking us for our precise and solution-oriented response with a simple and heartfelt: “ok, grazie mille.”

As the replacement was a straightforward operation, the part was installed by the owner himself, following our installation advice shared by email. Our technical team ensured he had all the necessary instructions for a safe and simple replacement.

This case reflects the efficiency and responsiveness that NAUTICSPARES brings to every request—providing not just the right part, but trusted advice, even for quick self-service repairs. Whether it’s a complex system or a single gas spring, we handle each issue with the same level of care and commitment.
